WELCOME.........to our site. The Waynesville Township Library is located in the Village of Waynesville, Waynesville Township, DeWitt County, Illinois.

As you come inside our doors, you will notice the display cases, housing trophys won by Grade School and High
School students of many years ago. There are also other treasures on display. To the right of the doors is the
Children's Book area, Librarian's desks, and the entrance to the Wikle Room, which contains the DVDs that are
available to rent, a copy machine, and a laminating machine, in additon to the board meeting table and chairs. . There is also a die cut machine which can makespecial cut outs to be used in crafts. The Wikle Room is so named because it was added on to the original Library building due to a generous donation from the Wikle family.

The Library also received a generous bequest from Hilda Humphreys, which enabled the purchase of 3 computers for
patron use. Two are located in the Children's Room, for children and adult use, and one is located in the Adult Reference Room and is available for adult patron's use only. The Adult Reference Room also has chairs suitable for sitting and perusing any books or materials one might be interested in. The Library has also been able to purchase much needed book storage shelves and other items which have been of great benefit. The Library also has many videos available in VHS format, which are rented like the DVDs.

Please look around our site and if you have any questions or comments, please feel free to contact us. We would
love to hear from you !
